The Challenge

Autowl.ro started from a real need: many Romanian drivers did not have a clear and centralized way to organize their personal car-related information. Documents such as RCA, ITP, audits, warrants, fines or insurance were stored in disparate folders, on WhatsApp, in emails or simply forgotten.

The client wanted to quickly test a digital solution that would solve this problem — a simple but functional web application that would be used by real users for initial validation. The goal: to create an MVP that can evolve quickly based on feedback.

We accepted the challenge of delivering both the UX/UI design side and the actual product development in a short time, but without compromising on experience level.

Development process

We started with a user flow definition phase, focusing on the most important actions for users: adding a vehicle, uploading documents, viewing history, and setting notifications for future events (e.g. RCA expiration or ITP).

We designed a clear, dashboard-style interface using reusable components and a modular visual architecture that can be easily expanded. The platform has been thought mobile-first, but it also works perfectly on the desktop.

After design approval, we developed MVP as a fully functional web application, including:

• Authentication and Account Management System
• Add more vehicles per user
• Upload and organize documents for each machine with AI (Artificial Intelligence) function
• Internal calendar with automatic notification generation
• Record of expenses and types of maintenance

The stack used was fast and flexible (e.g. Webflow, no-code tools, or own stack — I fill in on request).

This MVP has already been tested by real users to validate the idea, and the platform is ready for the next step: AI integration (automatic data extraction from car document pictures, automatic event generation, etc.)
